Expert Tips for Success
Read the Guidance First: Most applications are rejected because the applicant didn't meet the basic criteria. Read the "Guidance for Applicants" PDF twice before writing a single word.
Be Honest with Budgets: Don't guess. Get real quotes from sound engineers, van hire companies, or marketing agencies. Grant givers want to see that you’ve done the math.
Focus on Public Benefit: Grants are usually public money. Explain how your project helps the music scene, supports other artists, or provides a better experience for the local audience.
Apply Early: Many funds operate on a "rolling basis." If you wait until the final deadline, the budget for that quarter might already be stretched thin.
